PTI Announces Not to Boycott New Committees
ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that it will not boycott the newly formed committees following the 26th constitutional amendment.

, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that the perception that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is a judge for PTI is incorrect; he emphasized that PTI does not have any designated judge.
Barrister Gohar confirmed that PTI will participate in the newly formed committees and will certainly provide names for the appointments.
It is noteworthy that a notification has been issued for the formation of a special parliamentary committee for the appointment of the Chief Justice under the 26th constitutional amendment.
The special parliamentary committee for the appointment of the Chief Justice will include PTI’s Barrister Gohar Khan, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, and Senator Ali Zafar.
From the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Shaista Pervaiz Malik, and Azam Nazeer Tarar will be part of the committee, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will be represented by Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, and Senator Farooq H. Naek.
Furthermore, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will have Rana Ansar, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) will be represented by Kamran Murtaza on the committee.
The appointment of the new Chief Justice is expected to take place three days before the retirement of the current Chief Justice, with just 24 hours remaining for the new Chief Justice’s appointment.
